There is a lot to do in Buffalo. We, as a department, have parties together each year.
Hello-Good-bye Party
Residents, attendings, staff, spouses, children all gather for an afternoon and evening of fun. We say hello to the incoming interns and their families and good-bye to our graduating residents and their families during the summer before the end of residency when the in-coming interns are in town for orientation.
Holiday Winter Party
During December or January we all meet again to spend time as a department. It is a fun time to see your fellow residents, attendings, and staff outside of work.
Other events
Although we are busy with work, we sometimes find time to get together. We also join our internal medicine and pediatrics collegues at their winter and end of year parties.
